About Stendahl, the writer
Stendahl -or in his original name- Marie-Henri Beyle is one of the most known practicioner of realism. But who is he and what has he given to us? He was born on 23th of January, in 1783, in the Kingdom of France.Stendhal died on 23 March 1842, a few hours after collapsing with a seizure in the street in Paris. He is interred in the Cimetiere de Montmartre.
